Prince and his wife Nofret Rahotep
Dominating the space 32 in the gallery of the Old Kingdom are the two large limestone statues of two seated crowned heads of the fourth dynasty. The statues were discovered by the founders of the museum, Mariette, Meidum in 1871.
Narmer Palette
It dates from 3000 BC, Narmer Palette has been called “the first historical document in the world.”
Statue of Ka-aper
Egyptian art is not usually associated with realism, but this statue is so realistic, 5 Ka-Aper, wood dynasty priest plump the workers who discovered at Saqqara in 1860, when Sheikh al-Balad (“chief of the village known”) because of the similarity of their own.
Head of Nefertiti

Middle Kingdom models
Several areas of the west wing of the upper floor there are finely detailed models of the 11th Dynasty.
